The Black Oak – Spirit of the Forest jewelry collection is an invitation to a beautiful journey, the roots of which go back to the distant past. The ancient people considered the oak a symbol of the divine power of nature, the element of male and female energy. The project matured for a year, and the main inspiration for its creation was Magda Polkowska from her own project “Fairy Tales of the Peoples of the Earth”. Her ancient art of telling wandering fairy tales in the form of singing takes us to the magical world of the Peoples of the Earth. The sounds of nature extracted from ancient instruments combine with the deep message of words and come to life in our hearts.

As a gift from Magda, we received the “Fairy Tale of the Ancient Oak”. It talks about the need for man’s unity with nature and about awakening his natural intuition through deep mindfulness. An unusual fairy tale became an inspiration to create the Black Oak – Spirit of the Forest jewelry collection. The ancient people recognized the oak as a symbol of the power of nature and in it the element of male and female energy. For centuries, trees were entrusted with their deepest secrets, trees listened, giving peace, wisdom and contact with nature.

The natural oak used in the collection was dug in the San Valley and certified to be approx. 1400 years old. Its dark and unique black color is due to the conditions it has been in for hundreds of years. Ancient mandalas were engraved on the oak pieces of jewelry, used as signs of power and protection.

A person wearing jewelry from the Black Oak collection creates unity with it, adding their own story and emotions to it.
